HRT or TRT which means Testosterone Replacement Therapy is the process by where a patient with low testosterone uses an exernal source of testosterone to increase the level of test in a patient’s blood-stream. There are many different testosterone that one can take during their hormoney replacement therapy including cypionate, enanthate or some other version of test depending on the details of the HRT needed.
Sustanon 250 is probably the most popular ester based testosterone blend available. Sustanon was developed by Organon especially for HRT and therefore has been specifically designed using 4 different esters with different half-life so that it doesn’t have to be injected regulary.
Many athletes however don’t understand why sustanon has been developed and as a result it’s shun by the medical community and wrongly used by many athletes. For example you would notice on many online forums that body builders are recommending that sustanon be pinned (injected) every other day which is actually the incorrect way of using this compound.
Sustanon was designed to be injected every 8 to 10 days and as it is injected each ester becomes activated in the blood stream one after one another.
Below is a short, very informative animation video from Iroids.com breaking down the basics of Sustanon 250:
